Following graduation from law school, Eimear, working as an attorney at the Capital University Law School Family Advocacy Clinic, focused her practice on helping low income individuals remove barriers to the justice system. In this capacity, she dedicated her legal practice to representing victims of domestic violence. Her dedication and effective advocacy helped hundreds of women gain access the legal system to end violent relationships through protection orders, terminating abusive marriages by divorce, and securing custody orders to protect their children.

Eimear’s dedication to serving others has continued throughout her private legal practice as she continues to represent clients in a wide variety of family law matters. She has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of children through her service as a guardian ad litem.

Regarding this work, Eimear reflects, "I get to help individuals and families navigate through one of the most difficult times in their lives and I feel honored to do so. Whether I am advocating for an individual or on behalf of a minor child, I know the importance of gathering the necessary information and attempting to work towards a resolution to allow everyone the opportunity to move forward in a timely manner."

Eimear’s continued commitment to meaningful access to justice is reflected in her dedication to, and significant participation in, pro bono programs and community service.
